What is a Parish Plan?
There are undoubtedly things in all of our lives that we would like to see change and others we would like to stay just as they are.
It’s just the same in a place like the parish of Cheriton: there are things that people would like to change, and others they would like to see left alone.
This Parish Plan is about both. It’s a summary of all the main issues that people are concerned about in the parish – chosen by the people of the parish.

Foreword
Cheriton Parish Council fully endorse the work already carried out and about to be carried out by the Parish Plan Group and the Working Group on our Cheriton Local Heritage List .
However, more help is needed from the village to consult with others in order to make the Parish Plan a worthwhile document with the SDNP, City and County Councils.
We all want to keep Cheriton the delightful village we live in, or have just moved to, so update us with your views and help formulate a Community Led Parish Plan and keep Cheriton as we all like it.
Please lend your support to our Community Led Parish Plan. Your views really do matter.
